Hello and thanks so much for stopping by!

I'm Jennifer, a writer, mama to Jack, wife to Matt, family cruise director and wannabe professional organizer.

I'm a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a degree in political science and international relations. I lived and worked in Washington, D.C. for three years before figuring out that I really didn't want to continue working in politics or government but you'll still find me skimming newspapers and newsletters at 6am every morning.

My husband and I happily decamped back to the West Coast (we're both natives of Northern California) and added a little dude to our midst, Jackson, who is now three a champion runner, explorer, adventurer and mischief-maker.

I spent eight years as an executive assistant, calling on my naturally awesome organizational skills at places like The British Embassy, Booz Allen Hamilton, Motorola, and Google.

I was an exchange student in Switzerland my senior year of high school (yes, I missed prom and graduation; no they do not speak Swedish in Switzerland, thanks for asking) which only encouraged an already existing love of travel. Thankfully my husband spent his four years of high school on a tropical island in the south Pacific and shares that love with me. We travel as much as our schedule and budget will currently allow.

These days, when not exploring new places, I can be found living in the San Francisco Bay Area, being a taxi mom, writer (check out my blog here and portfolio of writing here) and wannabe professional organizer.
